The annual welcome back party is always a favorite of the residents who stay here all summer. It's wonderful to see our winter friends coming back. Great food served by the "Kitchen Komrades" and super music by the group; "Still Cruisin". |
|
Well, the season has officially started. The first coffee of the season was held on November 1. Joe, Sue and Paul filled everyone in on the changes made around the park. Susan gave an update on security. Our thanks to the folks at New York Life who generously sponsored the event. |
|
The Voyager Party Season has officially begun! Tom Chesnut kept them dancin til the wee hours. Well 10 PM anyway. Prizes were awarded for the scariest, funniest and most original costumes. Rumor has it that Wonder Women (aka Bruce Jennings) won one of the prizes. One can only guess which category. |
|
The Pickleball Committee submitted a few more pictures of the Halloween Party. Enjoy!! |

Voyager hosted an area Pickleball Tournament the second week of December. 156 participants played 435 games. Congratulations to the medal winners shown here. For more action pictures go to: http://voyagerrv.com/pickleball/photos.html |

A golf tournament, sponsored by Beaudry and Freedom RV was held on January 6. It was a sell out and everyone had a great time. If not for the golf, at least for the hot dogs, potato salad and beans afterward. |
Quilters I Quilt
Show and Sale |
Every January the Quilters I group holds a quilt show and sale which raises money to provide the supplies needed for quilts which they make and donate to Ronald McDonald House. Here is just a sample of the beautiful work which was on display. |

On February 7, our softball team was visited by the "Rancheets", which is a softball team made up of ladies 70 and older. To make things "even" two teams were made up with men and women on each team. Good Thinking, men! Anyway it was a good game with a lot of spirited action. |
|
If you didn't go to the February 18 Wednesday night entertainment you really missed a great show. What a talented family! |
Quilters II
Quilt Show |
On February 23, The Quiters II group put on a quilt show in the Ballroom. There are 69 pictures here so the best way to view them is to grab yourself a beverage, sit down and enjoy the show! |

As part of the Western Week Festivities a "Hot Dog and Brew" feed with entertainment followed by the first annual Voyager Cow Chip Toss. From the excitement of the crowd, Cow Chip Tossing may just take over Pickleball in popularity. Congratulations to the winners. |
|
The annual Show and Tell show was held in the Ball Room as part of Western Week. Words can't describe the incredible amount of artistic talent we have at Voyager! This is absolutely a "can't miss" event. |
|
March 6th Friday Night show was the New Odyssey group. We heard The Beatles, Louis Armstrong, Tina Turner, Johnny Cash, Beethoven and a lot more, all done by 3 guys singing and playing 30 some instruments! A great show played to a full house. |
|
Everyone loves a parade and no one puts on a parade better than the Voyager Folks. What a great ending for the fun-filled Western Week! |

There was a big Saint Patrick's Day Celebration in the Ballroom with entertainment but for the pictures we went straight for the food. |
